2. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account by providing:

3. Service Plans and Pricing

Our Free plan includes:

• Basic analytics (scan counts, device types)
• Ability to edit destination URLs
• Scan tracking and basic statistics

3.2 Pro Plan

Our Pro plan ($9.99/month) includes:

• Unlimited QR codes
• Advanced analytics (geographic data, detailed device breakdown)
• Bulk QR code operations
• Custom branding options
• Priority customer support

3.3 Payment Terms

• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
• Payments are processed through Stripe
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
• Failed payments may result in service suspension

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Generate QR codes linking to illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Engage in phishing, malware distribution, or fraudulent activities
• Violate intellectual property rights of others
• Spam, harass, or send unsolicited communications
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy without notice or refund.

5. QR Code Content and Ownership

You retain all rights to the content and destination URLs you create QR codes for. By using our Service, you grant us:

• The right to store and display your QR codes
• The right to track and analyze scan data
• The right to use anonymized aggregate data for service improvement

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any URLs, images, or content associated with your QR codes.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. The Service may be unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance (with advance notice when possible)
• Emergency maintenance or security updates
• Third-party service provider issues
• Force majeure events beyond our control

We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions.

7. Data Collection and Privacy

Our Service collects the following data:

• Account data: Email, name, password (hashed)
• QR code data: Destination URLs, names, creation dates
• Analytics data: IP addresses (anonymized), device types, scan timestamps, geographic locations (country/city level only)
• Payment data: Processed by Stripe (we do not store credit card numbers)

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by GetQRPro and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Remove copyright or proprietary notices
• Create derivative works based on the Service

9. Cancellation and Termination

9.1 By You

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:

• You will retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period
• Your account will automatically downgrade to the Free plan
• QR codes exceeding Free plan limits will be deactivated
• No refunds will be issued for partial months

9.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• Your payment fails after multiple attempts
• Your account is inactive for over 12 months
• We are required to do so by law

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
• WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
• OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS
• WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THIRD-PARTY CONTENT LINKED VIA QR CODES
• WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR DATA LOSS (YOU SHOULD MAINTAIN BACKUPS)

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold GetQRPro harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Content linked via your QR codes
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do:

• We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top
• We will notify you via email for material changes
• Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the new Terms
• If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through:

1. Good faith negotiation between parties
2. Mediation if negotiation fails
3. Binding arbitration as a last resort
